In the past, going to see a counselor was considered to be for very troubled people only. Today, it is my belief that all of us could use a counselor at some point in our lives to help us clarify our ideas, make sense of our past and learn to communicate better with the people we care about.

If you or your partner come from another country or culture, it is common to have problems related to your cultural differences, and relating to your children who are growing up in a culture completely different than the parents’.

COUPLES THERAPY

Constant fights are usually a sign of deeper problems, but when you are in the middle of conflict is difficult to see the root of the problem.
During couples therapy, partners explore their past as individuals and their present and future as a couple. You will learn new ways to communicate with honesty and trust, and you will define the kind of relationship that you want to have, while learning new tools to achieve these changes.
